About Us

Founders 2024.jfif

Pints 4 Pink was founded by Eric Hanson, a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, and a male breast cancer survivor, who has always enjoyed sharing a pint with friends and family. Following his last radiation treatment in 2018, Eric was sipping a pint of Roadrunner Red at Dillinger Brewery in Tucson AZ, when he realized the similarity between the words Pint and Pink, thus the Pints 4 Pink private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization was launched.

Initially, the idea was to have a single event at the Dillinger Brewery, but word quickly got out and additional breweries in Arizona and Michigan pledged their support. In total, during the first year, 9 breweries pooled together close to $4,000 to support breast cancer research.

The founders of the Pints 4 Pink Foundation envision a country-wide footprint, with specific representatives assigned for individual areas, as needed.

This year, Pints 4 Pink is being supported by breweries in Alaska, Arizona, California, Michigan, and Tennessee. If you don't see your state listed, please reach out to us with a brewery or two in your state you feel would be a great partner with Pints 4 Pink. We would love to add supporters!
